Shake the Keys: Townsend back, Kolodny DL'd

Townsend returns to the Keys lineup while Tyler Kolodny was placed on the DL with a hand injury

Sunday marks the return of first baseman Tyler Townsend from a hamstring injury suffered June 8 against Potomac.

Townsend missed 13 games with a hamstring injury. The first baseman leads the team in average (.317), home runs (10) and RBI (39).

Manager Orlando Gomez expected Townsend to return no later then Monday against Wilmington.

1B/DH Tyler Kolodny was placed on the DL as the corresponding move because of a hand injury. Kolodny has not been able to take batting practice and was considered day to day before the activation of Townsend.

Kolodny is hitting .261 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 62 games with the Keys this season.
