Bowie Baysox outfielder L.J. Hoes was named the Eastern League Player of the Week.

Bowie Baysox outfielder L.J. Hoes was named Eastern League Player of the Week. It was the first time he has won the award this year and is the second Baysox player to receive the award this season. Second baseman Greg Miclat is the other.

Hoes batted .462 (12-for-26) for the week. He had a double, four homers and seven RBIs while also scoring seven runs.

Hoes has split time this season between Bowie and Frederick. At Bowie he has appeared in 61 games. He is hitting .316 (71-for-223). He has hit 11 doubles, four homers, 35 RBIs, 29 runs scored and is 13-for-17 in stolen base attempts.
