The knuckler was on his game with eight strong innings but the offense managed only four hits and one walk as the Mission's were shut out 1-0

Key Stats: RHP Eddie Bonine 8 IP,7 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K; RF Yeison Asencio 1-3, 2B.

There wasn't much of a story to tell about the offense. It was anemic and really could have used the veteran leadership of Tommy Medica. The starting first baseman tonight was Lee Orr and Robert Kral who went a combined 0-3 with a strikeout and a double play. No matter what happens in the series congratulations to the Missions' top two players Reymond Fuentes and Tommy Medica for now being members of the Padres. Now if only they would play more than once a week.

San Antonio and Arkansas are now tied at one in a best of five series. Mission's have an off day Thursday before Donn Roach tries to give the Missions a 2-1 advantage.
