| A fourth round pick out of Sacramento State University in 2003, Chris Kinsey has been something of an enigma since joining the organization. He was started at Lo-A South Bend, and moved up to Lancaster that season, but has never progressed past Hi-A, and was bumped back down to South Bend for all of '04, and then again in '05 after opponents hit .351 off him during his 15 appearances at Lancaster. A big, hard thrower, Kinsey has been earning the frequent flyer miles this season, starting the year with a brief appearance in Triple-A, moving to Lancaster, where he dominated, and now getting the bump up to Double-A Tennessee, where he's continuing to throw well. |
